Discover the Goyen, the last sheltered coastal sea inlet before the Raz’ head: a haven of peace and richness for nature lovers. It also contains a boat cemetery and leads to a small medieval town (Pont-Croix) which is located four kilometers upstream from the port of Audierne.

Le Goyen

The port area (the pontoons of Audierne, from the fish market to Raoulic pier as well as towards the sea) is prohibited for safety reasons and good management of maritime traffic.

To make the most of the river Goyen, it is advisable to be at the reception desk of the Plouhinec Nautical Center 1h30 before the high tide. The end of the rising tide pushes you towards Pont Croix. The start of the ebb will help you to return to Plouhinec.
